DONATE

Giving what we can financially and resourcefully, to help others when they need it most, is one way of sharing our love for each other.

People run out of money for all sorts of reasons: Job loss, medical or mental health crisis, the challenge of building a new life in Edmonton…

This is why Lifeline exists – as last-resort support for regulars at the College of Integrated Philosophy to attend intensives, meetings, and seminars when they land on tough times; so everyone can make the most of the opportunity of the lifeline of being in proximity to John.

We throw out a lifeline, then teach people to swim so they can always keep their head above water, financially.

None of us know when we might need help.

HOW WE SUPPORT

When someone asks for help, the first thing we do is assess real need. Then we provide the best type of support, short and long term.

Applicants may be asked: –

  • What are your deepest priorities?
  • How are you using your assets and resources?
  • How can you change your lifestyle to make ends meet?
  • What do you need to learn or do to stay financially stable?

Lifeline allocates money and resources so people can help themselves in a way that benefits the giver, the receiver and the community as a whole.
